Dr. Schiff is certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dip.Ac.) and Diplomate of Chinese Herbal Medicine (Dip.CH). Dr. Schiff is also board certified by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).

Her initial motivation to study and train in alternative approaches to health care was a personal one. After suffering with endometriosis for 12 years, Dr. Schiff became disillusioned and frustrated with the limitations of Western medical protocols, and sought an alternative course of treatment that would enable her to manage and overcome her disabling condition.

In the hands of well-trained Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, her health changed significantly over a six month period through a combination of Oriental based massage, acupuncture, and Chinese herbs. This gave Dr. Schiff a new lease on life. She was so impressed that she made the decision to pursue the finest TCM education available in the field.

Dr. Schiff completed her studies at the University of Florida, the New Center College for Holistic Health and Research in Syosset, New York, The Heilong Jiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Harbin, China and the Community School for Traditional Chinese Medicine, North Miami Beach, Florida. She has interned with Randine Lewis, Ph.D., author of the Infertility Cure and founder of the Fertile Soul Retreats. Dr. Schiff is also a charter member of the Fertile Soul Clinic Excellence in Fertility program. She is also the founder and creator of www.AcuBaby.com, an integrative web resource for the fertility community, both patient and practitioner alike.

In Palm Beach County, Dr. Schiff is the clinical director of Acupuncture Associates and treats patients in Delray Beach and Wellington, Florida. She has been treating patients for a broad range of health issues for over a decade, with a special concentration and expertise in gynecology and reproductive wellness. Dr. Schiff works closely with many reproductive endocrinologists, OBGYNs, internists and supportive practitioners to provide a team approach for her patient base. She continues to study and train with classic masters and specialists throughout the world.

Susan G. Schiff, A.P., DOM, is NCCAOM Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, as well as ABORM Board Certified.

Donna J. Tomey

Donna J. Tomey, C.C.T.

Donna received her certification at Duke University under the auspices of the American College of Clinical Thermology, Inc.

After her own experience with breast cancer in early 2006, Donna learned about thermography as the earliest breast cancer screening tool available. There is no painful compression or harmful radiation, and is designed to detect abnormal vascular changes in breast tissue 8-10 years earlier than mammography or any other imaging method. It can also detect changes throughout your body, which allows you enough time to make the appropriate lifestyle, nutritional, and hormonal changes to reverse the possibility of disease and ill health.

Shortly after the mastectomy of her right breast, Donna did a thermogram of her other breast and learned there were significant vascular changes that put her at serious risk for cancer in that breast. With the help of a nutritionist, Donna was able to reverse these changes by making the necessary alterations to her diet, lifestyle and hormones.

Donna J. Tomey is a Certified Clinical Thermographer.
